Keith Newton
Chief Executive Officer
Keith Newton is Concentra’s chief executive officer. Beginning in 2007, Keith served in key management and operational roles at Concentra and was ultimately promoted to president and chief operating officer of the organization, a position he held until 2011. In 2011, Keith moved on to DentalOne Partners as president and chief executive officer until 2015 when he rejoined Concentra. Keith has served as Chief Executive Officer since rejoining in 2015 and President until 2023.
Keith’s other notable experience includes helping to direct the operations of OccuSystems, Inc. from 1995 to 1999. OccuSystems, Inc. was one of the companies that merged to form Concentra in 1997. From 1999 to 2007, Keith served as president of Concentra's former Health Services division.
Before joining Concentra in 1995, Keith worked for Columbia HCA’s Ambulatory Surgery Division and its predecessor Medical Care International. Keith earned his BBA in accounting from Texas A&M University.
Matthew DiCanio
President & Chief Financial Officer
Matthew DiCanio has served as President since 2023 and Chief Financial Officer since 2024. He oversees Concentra’s clinical, operational, sales, marketing, and product organizations as well as Concentra’s growth and business improvement strategies, mergers and acquisitions, real estate activities, and employer onsite group. He was previously responsible for the Valor Healthcare outpatient division (since divested).
Before joining Concentra, Matthew held various positions in finance, mergers and acquisitions, and management. His experience includes serving as principal and co-head of the health care vertical at a middle-market investment bank based in Dallas; as an investment banker with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York City; and as a CPA with KPMG, LLP, also in New York City.
After earning a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Richmond, Matthew later earned an MBA in Finance and Economics from Columbia Business School in New York.
John Anderson, DO, FACOEM
Executive Vice President, Chief Medical Officer
John Anderson has served as Chief Medical Officer since 2014. He directs the delivery of medical care for the entire Concentra organization. He joined Concentra in 1993 and offers more than 45 years of experience in occupational medicine. He is responsible for overseeing the medical practice, assuring evidence-based health care, and supervising more than 2,000 physicians and clinicians.
Dr. Anderson is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) and board certified in both occupational medicine and health care quality management. He has served as an appointed member of the Michigan Workers' Compensation Advisory Council and Wayne State University's Occupational Medicine Resident Advisory Committee. He is a contributing author and co-editor of the reference textbook: Low Back Pain: An Evidence-Based, Biopsychosocial Model for Clinical Management.
Dr. Anderson is a graduate of John Carroll University and Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.
Giovanni Gallara, PT, DPT
Executive Vice President, Chief Clinical Services Officer
Giovanni Gallara leads all clinical aspects of Concentra's physical rehabilitation program and operationally supports Concentra Advanced Specialty physician program, ancillary services, peer review services, managed pharmacy, and referrals management teams.
Giovanni joined Concentra in 2011 and served as vice president of therapy operations, supporting the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions prior to joining the executive leadership team in 2016. For more than 20 years, Giovanni has developed a focus in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, occupational medicine, clinical analytics, and clinical outcome measures. In addition to his clinical background, he has diverse experience working in the financial services industry, operations, business analytics, and academics.
Giovanni received his undergraduate degree from Stockton University, Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from UMDNJ-Rutgers University, Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana, and is certified in Orthopedic Manual Therapy.
Mike Kosuth
Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer – East Group
Mike Kosuth is responsible for the day-to-day operations of more than 280 medical centers in Concentra’s east region. In his role, Mike manages and optimizes field operations with responsibility for profit and loss (P&L) of the centers to ensure Concentra’s strategic and financial success in his region.
Mike joined Concentra in 1996 in an operational development role at a time when Concentra had fewer than 75 centers. Throughout his career with Concentra, he has held various positions where he applied his effective leadership acumen to help drive the company forward. Mike continues to be a positive force for Concentra and is instrumental in the successful expansion of the company’s footprint, operationalizing numerous acquired and newly established medical centers in the East region.
Mike has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Akron and a Master of Business Administration from Kent State University.
Doug McAndrew
Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer – West Group
Doug McAndrew executes Concentra’s strategic field operations in the western United States, overseeing more than 250 medical centers. In this role, he optimizes and manages field operations, is responsible for profit and loss (P&L) of all sites and ensures Concentra’s strategic and financial success in our West region.
After starting at Concentra in 1994 as a sales account executive, Doug quickly became known as a top performer, driving revenue and aggressively growing Concentra’s customer base. His efforts were recognized with multiple promotions, culminating in a promotion to vice president of sales. After eleven years in sales, Doug transitioned to Concentra’s operations team by leading a culture of accountability and driving results in key business units before being promoted to senior vice president of operations.
Doug has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Texas State University.
Su Zan Nelson, CPA
Executive Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer
Su Zan Nelson first joined Concentra in 2001. In her role, she is responsible for all facets of Concentra's financial and other statistical reporting, planning and budgeting, capital management, and auditing activities.
In 2014, Su Zan left Concentra for a brief period to serve as interim CFO DentalOne Partners, a dental management service organization supporting 160 dental practices, and in 2015 Su Zan served as the CFO for MedPost Urgent Care, a division of Tenet Health with 45 urgent care centers. Her experience also includes health care-related financial consultation with several leading corporations.
Su Zan earned her bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a certified public accountant (CPA).
Jon Conser
Executive Vice President, Chief Growth & Customer Officer
Jon Conser oversees Concentra’s customer acquisition, revenue operations and relationship management by leading Concentra’s field sales, key accounts, strategic national accounts, payor relationships, employer services TPA, telemedicine and network channel relationships.
Jon has served in various key sales management roles since joining Concentra in 2003, initially serving as vice president of national accounts in Concentra’s managed care division.
Before joining Concentra, Jon held various management sales leadership positions with financial, insurance, automotive, and oil and gas companies. He received a BBA in business from Southern Methodist University.
Greg Gilbert
Executive Vice President, Chief Reimbursement & Governmental Relations Officer
Greg Gilbert joined Concentra in 1994 and provides reimbursement, managed care contracting, and pricing management and operational direction for the organization. He is also actively involved in legislative initiatives in various states concerning workers' compensation laws and policies. Greg has participated in numerous public presentations at workers' compensation public hearings related to proposed changes to laws, policies, and fee structures.
Greg earned his Bachelor of Science in health professions from Texas State University and his MBA from the University of Dallas. He is a certified patient account manager (CPAM) through the American Association of Health Care Administrative Management (AAHAM).
Tom Devasia
Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer
Tom Devasia leads Concentra’s product, marketing, and digital teams. In this role, he oversees the planning, development, and execution of marketing efforts across all channels to drive customer awareness, acquisition, and engagement. He provides executive leadership of Concentra’s innovation and customer experience initiatives.
Before joining Concentra in 2016, Tom held roles of increasing responsibility in product innovation, marketing, and brand strategy at global and U.S. Fortune 100 health care companies.
Tom earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in biology and business from Bellarmine University and holds an MBA in marketing and international business from Xavier University.
John deLorimier
Executive Vice President, Chief Data & Digital Officer
John deLorimier oversees the development and execution of customer engagement solutions including strategies for digital transformation, data sharing and technology platforms and services, as well as customer support. In his role, John oversees business and technology processes to optimize Concentra’s engagement with its customers and business partners.
Previously, John served as executive vice president of customer growth and experience and provided executive leadership to Concentra’s sales, marketing, product development, and customer support teams.
Before joining Concentra, John served as segment vice president of product and sales development for Humana, where he oversaw marketing, sales operations, and product integration initiatives for the employer group segment. John also held senior roles in professional services organizations advising Fortune 500 companies on sales effectiveness, channel optimization, change management, innovation, and knowledge management. He earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Virginia Tech.
Dani Kendall
Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Dani Kendall leads Concentra's field human resources functions, including the HR mergers and acquisitions due diligence process, talent acquisition, training and field support, compensation, and employee relations.
Prior to joining Concentra in 2000, Dani held human resources leadership roles in a variety of industries including computer retail (CompUSA), dental management (United Dental Care), and life insurance (Protective Life Insurance).
Dani maintains her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation and earned her BBA degree in marketing from Texas Christian University, where she was a scholarship athlete in swimming.
Mike Rhine
Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer – Onsite Health & Telemedicine
Mike Rhine leads national operations for Concentra’s onsite health and telemedicine businesses. In this role, he is accountable for all aspects of the programs, including P&L, strategy, account management, and customer and patient experience.
Mike joined Concentra in 2003 and rose through physical therapy leadership roles before joining operations, where he held various leadership positions along the East Coast. He most recently served as vice president of operations for Concentra’s northeast region. He has extensive experience in operations, technology implementation, and financial leadership, coupled with strong knowledge of the workers’ compensation industry and emerging issues affecting occupational health care.
He earned his doctoral degree in physical therapy at Duke University and his undergraduate degree in biology at East Stroudsburg University.
Tim Ryan
Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Counsel
Tim Ryan joined Concentra in 2024 as the company’s Chief Legal Counsel. He is responsible for strategic legal, regulatory, and corporate governance advice and management for the Concentra organization and oversees the company’s legal department and operations.
Before joining Concentra, Tim served as Chief Legal Counsel at AccentCare, a prominent home health care provider. Prior to that, he held several key positions at UnitedHealth Group, culminating in his role as General Counsel of OptumHealth, a diversified health and well-being company. Earlier in his career, Tim was a private practice attorney at law firms in Chicago and Detroit.
After earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan, Tim received his Juris Doctor from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts.
